Calibration solution for
refractometers and conductivity meters.
This solution is an accurate reproduction of natural seawater, specially
recreated in the laboratory, and it has the same optical, conductivity, and
density characteristics.
It is therefore the ideal system for calibrating all measuring instruments.
Refractometers: Place a few
drops on the glass and calibrate to 35‰ or 1.026 specific gravity.
It is recommended to calibrate the refractometer just before measurement to
avoid errors due to temperature compensation.
Conductivity meters: Immerse the sensor in the
liquid and follow the instrument's instructions to calibrate to 53mS.
