Life Zeo Small

Information

Selected Zeolites for the Removal of Toxic Substances and Ammonium
Life Zeo is a special zeolite designed to adsorb compounds such as ammonium (NH4+) and thus reduce the concentration of nitrogen pollutants (NO3-). The medium-large granule size is optimized to maximize the product's effectiveness and provide the largest surface area for contact. Due to this characteristic, compared to other similar zeolites, Life Zeo offers superior performance. When used in conjunction with Ultra Carbon, Life Zeo helps achieve water conditions close to those of natural reef seawater, creating an ideal environment for the growth and coloration of both SPS corals like Acropora, Montipora, and Pocillopora, as well as LPS corals. It can also be used in soft coral aquariums.

Instructions

Rinse the zeolite before use to remove the finest dust. If using zeolites for the first time, place 80 ml of Life Zeo per 100 liters of aquarium water in a zeolite reactor (Oceanlife Filter Multi is recommended) for the first 4-6 weeks. Afterward, use 160 ml per 100 liters. This zeolite can also be used without agitation. Replace Life Zeo on average every 4-8 weeks depending on pollutant levels. Adjust the water flow to avoid sudden changes in values and prevent stress to corals and the entire tank population; a flow rate of 20 to 50 l/h per 100 liters of tank water is sufficient. Regularly monitor pollutant levels.
