Carbonates

Information

Highly concentrated carbonates blend for reef aquariums
Carbonates is a highly concentrated liquid carbonate/bicarbonate blend. It rapidly increases the KH levels in reef aquariums and supplies one of the basic elements required for the growth of reef-building corals.
Carbonates is formulated using high purity carbonate and bicarbonate compounds, and is boron, potassium and pollutant free.
Due to its purity, its prolonged use will not negatively affect water quality and will not modify the boron and potassium equilibrium.

Instructions

Simplified: 1ml/100L 3-4 times x week
Detailed: 10ml in 100L = +1 dKH (0.35 meq/L)

The natural KH level in seawater is 7-8 dKH (2.45-2.8 meq/L).
You can use Carbonates by simply adding 1 ml of the product per 100 liters 3-4 times a week or as needed.
Alternatively, for the best results, measure the carbonate level using a test and use our software to calculate the amount of Carbonates to add to stay around 8 dKH (2.8 meq/L).
If the initial value is below 6 dKH, divide the dose so as not to add more than 10 ml/100L per day.
10 ml of product increases carbonates by 1 dKH (0.35 meq/L) in 100 net liters.
Carbonates are also consumed during the multiplication of nitrifying bacteria, so it is normal for carbonates to be consumed disproportionately to calcium. Shake well and store at a temperature above 20°C.
