Cyano X can effectively fight cyanobacteria. This version is optimized for fresh water. Not being an antibiotic, it does not adversely affect the biology of the aquarium. The product does not dispense from a regular maintenance of the aquarium but it is a remedy that in most cases resolves the problems of cyanobacteria during an acute infestation. If the cyanobacteria reform over time, it is advisable to review the layout of the aquarium and to identify any previous problems.
Instructions: Dissolve the product in a little aquarium water and dose. During the cycle, stop any addition of products, especially bacteria.
Disinfestation: During the first week, dose 1g of Cyano X every 100 liters (net) per day. If no improvement is noted, dose 2g per 100 liters (net) per day during the second week and 3g per 100 liters (net) per day the third week. Do not exceed 3g per 100 liters per day. If torpidity develops, stop treatment for a couple of days or until the numbness is reduced.
Prevention: 1g per 100 liters net per week.
