We recommend keeping magnesium in the range between 1200 and 1350 mg / l. Before making the assay, measure the magnesium level using the Aquatic Lab reagent test and calculate the magnesium consumption over 2-7 days. Next, calculate the daily amount of III to be dosed to keep the value stable.
In case it is not possible to use the online calculator, use the formula:
Daily dose (ml) = (Reading 1 - Rerading 2) / Days * Liters / 48
Example:
Reading 1 = 1350 mg / l
Reading 2 = 1340 mg / L
Days between Reading 1 and Reading 2 = 30
Aquarium capacity = 300 liters
Daily dose (ml) = (1350 - 1340) / 300 * 300 / 48 = 2 ml/day
