Simple Test: Magnesium

Instructions:

• Add 5 ml of aquarium water to the first vial and add 7 drops of MG reagent 1. Stir gently for 15 seconds.
• Add 1 spoon of MG 2 reagent and shake gently until completely dissolved.
• Take with the first syringe (red) of 1 ml, 1 ml of MG 3 reagent and slowly add to the first test vial until the solution passes from cyclamen to blue, passing through the violet. Wait 1 minute to check the stability of the color change.
• Read and note the value reported on the first syringe. Example: 0,85
  

• Add 5 ml of aquarium water into the second tube and add 1 spoon of MG 2 reagent and shake gently until completely dissolved.
• Take with the second syringe (blue) 1 ml, 1 ml of MG 4 reagent and slowly add to the second vial until the solution passes from cyclamen to blue-blue, passing through the violet. Wait 30 seconds to check the stability of the color change.
• Read and note the value reported on the second syringe. Example: 0,15
