Simple Test: Potassium

Instructions:

• Add 5 ml of reagent K to the vial.
• Place the vial on the black symbol of the seagull on the sheet.
• Fill the 1 ml syringe with 1 ml of aquarium water and, looking at about 25 cm away, add drop by drop into the vial. Shake gently after each drop waiting for a few moments the formation of turbidity.
• Stop adding only when it is no longer possible to see the seagull symbol. If after the first syringe it is still possible see the symbol, repeat the previous point.
